At Drysdale Primary School, we recognise that student mental health and wellbeing are vital to successful learning and development. That’s why we’re committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where all students feel connected, valued, and empowered to thrive.
We proudly support students of all abilities, including those with additional needs, disabilities, and learning difficulties. Our school fosters a culture of inclusion and engagement, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed both academically and socially.
We are fortunate to have Nicole Alonso, our Wellbeing Leader, and Anthony Martino, our Social Worker, as key members of our wellbeing team. Nicole and Anthony work closely with students, families, and staff to promote mental health and wellbeing across our school. They are available for individual appointments and are actively involved in supporting the wider school community.
Our wellbeing approach includes:
- Individual student support for wellbeing concerns
- Small group programs offered throughout the year
- Opportunities for students to connect with wellbeing staff in a relaxed, peer-supported environment
- Collaborative work with families, Allied Health professionals, therapists, and external support services to ensure tailored support and strategies are in place
At Drysdale Primary School, we are committed to the whole-child approach, supporting not just academic growth, but emotional and social development as well. Together, we build a strong foundation for lifelong wellbeing and resilience.
