The Performing Arts program at Drysdale Primary School is offered to all students from Prep through Grade 6 and embraces a rich blend of music, drama, and dance.

Classes take place in our dedicated Performing Arts Space, which is fully equipped with a wide variety of instruments, advanced technology, costumes, and more – providing an inspiring environment for creativity and learning.

A major highlight of the school year is the Whole School Concert, held in our school hall at the end of Term 3. This much-anticipated event marks the culmination of the Performing Arts program and regularly draws close to 800 attendees, making it a cherished celebration for our entire community. 

Our school hall features a purpose-built stage with professional curtains and lighting, perfectly suited for performances. This, combined with Drysdale Primary’s longstanding tradition and strong heritage in the performing arts, creates a vibrant and supportive atmosphere where students thrive as confident and expressive performers.

Throughout the year, students develop a deep understanding of musical elements and have multiple opportunities to showcase their talents through songs, dances, and instrumental pieces at whole school assemblies.
