BYOD Program
DRYSDALE PRIMARY SCHOOL
BYOD Program
At Drysdale Primary School, we offer a Managed Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program for students in Years 4 to 6 for the final time in 2026.
This program will no longer run from 2027 due changes in Dept of Education policy. This program is not compulsory parents and students that choose not to purchase a device will have access to a school owned classroom device.
We recognise the essential role digital technology plays in teaching and learning, and this program supports a more dynamic, interactive, and personalised classroom experience.
By integrating technology into the classroom, teachers can deliver content in engaging, innovative ways – using multimedia resources, interactive tools, and educational apps. This not only enriches the curriculum but also helps students develop essential digital skills and habits that will benefit them throughout their education and beyond.
To assist families with cost management, we offer a range of approved devices at different price points, giving families flexible options when selecting the most suitable device for their child.
Detailed information is provided to families in Term 4, including device specifications, purchasing options, and setup support.
