DRYSDALE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Breakfast Program
Drysdale Primary School proudly runs a Breakfast Club every Monday and Friday morning, offering free, healthy breakfasts to all students.
Program Details:
- When: Mondays & Fridays, 8:30am – 9:00am
- Where: Seniors Building
- What’s on the menu? Toasties (vegemite, jam, cheese or honey), milk & fresh fruit
- Cost: Completely free for all students
This program ensures students start the day nourished and ready to learn. It helps support focus, wellbeing, and a positive start to the school day.
Proudly Supported by generous local community groups and the Victorian Foodbank who we acknowledge throughout the year in our newsletters.
This program aims to address the impact of disadvantage on education by offering free, healthy food to students. The program recognises that hunger can negatively impact a child’s ability to concentrate, self-regulate, and learn and we are pleased to provide this opportunity to our school community. At times, we have excess food, including fresh fruit, that we offer to families on a Tuesday afternoon.
