Families are warmly invited to attend our whole school assembly, held in the school hall every Friday at 3:00pm. Assemblies are a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the achievements and efforts of our students.

Value Awards

Each week, Value Awards are presented to students who have demonstrated exceptional behaviour, effort, or achievement aligned with our school values. While the recipients are kept a surprise until the announcement at assembly, teachers will make an effort to notify parents or carers in advance when possible, so they can attend and share in the celebration.

Kids Matter Assembly

In 2015, Drysdale Primary School adopted the Kids Matter framework – a flexible, whole-school approach to supporting student mental health and wellbeing. This initiative is guided by our Wellbeing Team and our student-led Kids Matter Kids team.

Once each term, we hold a special Kids Matter Assembly, where students are encouraged to wear their house coloured Drysdale t-shirt. These events celebrate wellbeing, inclusion, and belonging, and dates are published in the school calendar via Sentral.
