We welcome families to our whole school assembly held in the school hall every Friday afternoon at 3.00pm.
Value Awards
Each week the Value Awards are presented at assembly to students who have achieved something especially noteworthy. Where possible teachers will make an effort to notify parents/carers so that they can attend assembly for the presentation, if possible. Generally the students do not know who is receiving a Value Award until they are announced in assembly.
Kids Matter Assembly
In 2015, Drysdale Primary School introduced the Kids Matter framework. Kids Matter is a flexible, whole-school approach to improving children’s mental health and wellbeing. We have an overarching Wellbeing Team and a Kids Matter Kids team.
Every Friday, generally in Week 4 and Week 8 of each term, we run a Kids Matter Assembly where students are invited to wear their Drysdale Primary School house coloured t-shirt.
