Drysdale Primary School

Acting Principal’s Update

We are almost at the end of what has been a very busy but productive term. I want to thank all our families for their support throughout the term. Whether it be in attending Book Week Parades and Open Afternoons, cheering us on at Athletics, ensuring incursions and excursions have your permissions and payments or making sure your child has had several different costumes for the variety of dress up and special days through the term. We thank you and appreciate the efforts you go to for our school and your child.

We have Concert still to come next week. Thank you to Trent Stephens and all our staff for their efforts in preparing for this event. Tickets are still on sale, so if you haven’t already done so, please jump on via the link in the newsletter below. We can’t wait to perform and end the term in a fun and entertaining way!!!

Superman Stall: Parents and Friends would like to thank this years Superman Stall volunteers, Gus, Jen, Alycia, Tammy, Sandra, Caroline and Carissa. Without volunteers to help we would not be able to run these events. We would also like to thank the teachers for being so organised and efficient on the day. We raised $360, which will go towards new seating around the school. We hope all the Supermen had a great day.

Pie Drive: Parents and Friends would like to thank the 34 families and staff who purchased from this years Rolling Pins pie drive. We raised a total of $928.00 which is a great result. Congratulations to the Donaldson’s who purchased almost $600 worth of pie packs and have won the $50 voucher, which will be added into your pies on Thursday.

PIES CAN BE COLLECTED THIS THURSDAY 12 SEPTEMBER FROM 3:15pm IN FRONT OF THE CANTEEN.

Parents and Friends have been lucky enough to be allocated a Bunnings BBQ spot next term, please keep yours eyes peeled for a volunteer sign up sheet early next term. Without volunteers we can’t run these events, please consider donating an hour of your time.
